Caring at a Distance

Signature, Cliveden Manor
, 210 Little Marlow Road, Marlow, Bucks SL7 1HX

As life expectancy increases, the provision of elder care is becoming more important in the UK and is moving up the agenda in all sectors.  When you live and work abroad, caring from a distance and ensuring that a parent or relative back in the UK can manage as they become older and frail in health can be difficult and worrying. Yet the most recent research from the relocation industry highlights that company overseas assignment policies do not include provision for elder care support in the home country. Thankfully there are a number of things that expats can do. Please join Signature and Families in Global Transition UK for an overview of how to best prepare for caring at a distance.
