TASIS The American School in England is pleased to host Crossing Cultures with Competence presented by the Interchange Institute, on October 1st - 3rd.

Addressing the issues faced by expatriates as they connect with their new culture, these workshops are structured for professionals whose work involves intercultural expertise. Designed to "train the trainer", they will equip you with all of the necessary tools to enable you to implement what you have learned within your own organisation.

Crossing Cultures with Competence: This Training of Trainers Workshop teaches you how to put together a country overview, how to explain core cultural differences in attitudes and values, andhow to help people understand the workplace, family, and individual challenges they face when moving to a new country. Leave the training with all the kit you’ll need to start offering your own orientations, plus a site license to reproduce materials for your trainees in unlimited numbers. Designed for mobility professionals, trainers, educators, counselors, human resource managers and coaches wanting to add new cross cultural skills to their toolbox and who already have significant intercultural backgrounds of some nature.
