Driving

The Colorado Department of Revenue oversees the issuance of driver's licenses in the state, and makes available and online Driver's Handbook in English and Spanish.

Once you are employed or within 90 days of residency in Boulder – whichever comes first – you must obtain a Colorado driver's license. Note that, once you have applied, your new driver's license will be mailed to you, so be sure to allow for mailing time when determining your timing.
